The project was to replace the green bottle
glass with 3 windows 2 Victorian Flowers
and one Celtic Cross. The pictures
show the before windows, the sketches of proposed windows,
The process of removing the old glass and
installing the new windows, the windows viewed from
the inside and finally a group shot of
myself and my good friend Irwin Arnstien.
Below are close ups of the windows 2 Victorian Flower (only one shown) and the Celtic Cross
The next project was to create a window that
would accent the back yard garden. The window would
be installed in the garage and would be
viewed as you crossed the garden's bridge.
First two pictures shows the primary inspiration
(the garden's bridge) and
rough sketch (one of many design
proposal) for the window. The next two show construction and
the
cementing of the window with the last two
showing the finished window from inside and the last show
the outside from view that you would see as
you cross the large garden bridge.
The next project is for the center window in
a bathroom. The window is 69 inches tall
by 28 inches wide. The black border is opaque water glass. Light
cream opaque glass forms the
cathedral type arch with the cross made of opaque cream glass with golden streaks
running
through it. The clear glass is seeded glass with all other colored glass
being water glass.
The next project is for the breakfast area
of the kitchen. The home has a French
styling. A Fleur de Lis is surrounded by grape leaves and grapes
three differing purple colors on vine. The window is mostly opaque glass
and is 93 inches long by 29 inches at the top crest.
